Higher Ground Melbourne takes BREAKFAST reservations on weekdays only between 7.00am - 10.00am for groups of 6 or more. DINNER reservations can be made for groups from 1 to 14 people on Thursday, Friday & Saturday nights from 4.00pm to 9.00pm. Higher Ground does not take reservations for lunch on weekdays or breakfast & lunch on weekends.

Higher Ground X Kabuu Urban Farm

Higher Ground has just partnered with urban farm Kabuu in Eltham to grow and supply the restaurant with micro greens for it’s dishes. Ted and Richard, the brains behind the small urban farm both have degrees in Biology and made the move to apply their skills to the valuable project.

Their mission ‘to create an urban food system providing hyperlocal and affordable fresh food to all; while leaving the smallest possible ecological footprint, mirrors Higher Grounds ideals of supporting and encouraging local growers while reducing the footprint of producing commercial food.

‘Our goal is to transform currently vacant and underutilised urban spaces into thriving food producing systems; supplying quality fresh food to local communities.

Nate Wilkins, Head Chef is focused on providing valuable feedback to the farm to enable sustainability, growth and longevity for both Kabuu and the industry.
